The Tsukuba Model United Nations Workshop was held.

On March 27, twenty-four high school students from Ibaraki prefecture participated in the Tsukuba Model United Nations Workshop hosted by the University of Tsukuba, as part of the TISS program.

The event featured lectures and presentations by TISS students who participated in the National Model United Nations Conference in Washington, D.C. last November.

Drawing from these firsthand accounts, participating students engaged in group discussions that highlighted both the joys and the difficulties of negotiation.

Through the activities of listening, thinking, and speaking about international issues in English, this was a valuable opportunity for the high school students to identify the skills required to play an active role in the international community.

The TISS students prepared carefully the event. The result was a day full of creative activities and ideas. It was enjoyable just to watch.♪
