Tsukuba Model United Nations Group participated in the 2024 National Model United Nations Washington, D.C. Conference

School of Social and International Studies delegated five TISS students to the 2024 National Model United Nations DC Conference held in Washington, D.C., USA from November 8 to November 10, 2024.

Tsukuba Model United Nations Group participated in the General Assembly First Committee and General Assembly Second Committee and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), representing Romania in 2024.

The delegation members prepared and practiced a lot so as to effectively and accurately represent the government of Romania and its policies on agenda issues. With these activities, students developed negotiation skills, team work, and demonstrated their collective achievement. It was a very valuable experience!
